Cowboys and Horses
Cowboys and horses go together like peanut butter
and jelly. It is hard to find one without the other, they stick together like
glue and they work well together!
This fabric has a repeating pattern, small enough for a bar stool covering or a throw pillow, is busy enough to keep you interested and the quality is such that it will last for a very, very long time. Its toughness and beauty comes from the style of weaving that created it called Jacquard weaving.
Jacquard weaving is named for the inventor of the Jacquard loom, Joseph Louis Jacquard. A silk weaver, in 1801, he created a loom that would raise up the warp on the weave, giving it a rich design texture that adds another visual dimension to the fabric.
The western influence of this fabric makes it unique with the usual stately Jacquard weaves. Cowboys and Horses as a fabric, stimulates the imagination to recall how active and rugged these icons of the Wild West have always been, and still are today.
